Across Pakistan, a huge percentage of people rely on their labor and daily wages for their survival. CDRS and Mari Petroleum Company Limited (MPCL) have aimed to serve them in their daily endeavors by providing them deliciously and hygienically cooked meals.
In early 2021, CDRS joined forces with MPCL, to formulate the project – Mari Dastarkhwan. Under this project, every day, there are 300 servings of breakfast and 300 of dinner.
These meals are prepared at the CDRS catering facility to the highest standards of quality and hygiene. Our special food-delivery truck, owned and operated by CDRS, drives to designated spots across Islamabad and Rawalpindi for the daily distributions.
With this project, we are proud to align our efforts with the government’s Ehsaas program – ‘Koi Bhooka Na Soye’The start to this journey has been incredible. And we are now planning to scale up our efforts to reach more and more people in this daily endeavor.
